COVID-19 CLINIC UPDATE

All surfaces that will be touched by human hands are scrubbed down with government approved disinfectant before and after each shift and before and after each client. This includes door handles, treatment tables, therapeutic equipment to name the most common ones.

 

All clients will be screened before coming into the clinic through an online survey that will be sent to you 6 hours before your appointment to ensure you are healthy. The clinic doors will be locked at all times to ensure no one will enter who hasn’t been screened for your safety and ours.  Any positively screened clients will be asked to reschedule their appointment and will be referred to their local health facility for testing.

All practitioners at the clinic will submit a COVID-19 screening questionnaire before they start each and every shift in order to ensure that they are in good health, able to practice safely.

All clients will need to wear their own mask for the appointment and while in the clinic.  Please do not dispose of any masks or gloves at the clinic.  Please leave all children and other family members at home. Should you absolutely need someone else to join you, they will be screened as well.

 

The waiting room or front desk will not be used in the clinic. Instead, please wait in your car or outside until I ask you to come in via a phone call.  I will escort you in the clinic and you will go directly into your treatment room.

You are required to cleanse your hands upon entering the premises with the hand sanitizer provided for you and it is advised you to do the same when you leave.

 

It is appreciated if you could go to the washroom before coming to the clinic to avoid less contact in public spaces.

I will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per our regulatory bodies requirements and will be cleansing my hands between each client visit to ensure no transmission of infectious agents.

Payment for appointments will be happening electronically (e-transfers) or via credit card through our online portal. All invoices for appointments will be sent electronically through the online portal.

 

If at any time during your visit with us you feel uncomfortable PLEASE communicate that to me as I will do everything possible to help you feel comfortable and safe. You and your family’s health are my primary concern and I am honoured to assist you in any way I can.
